Childhood abuse and mistreatment can lead to a person becoming very vulnerable as they grow up.

Vulnerable enough that under the right circumstances and with the wrong people involved,

they can easily end up taking a very dark path in life.

And when you add an occult factor into the whole situation, it makes that even more of a possibility.

Of course, if you need any evidence of that being true, you only have to look at what happened when 18-year-old Krista Pike, herself someone who had gone through a very difficult upbringing, took this path when she murdered her 19- old classmate in cold blood and as a result ended

up being the youngest woman on death row.

This is monsters. you're going to. Krista Gail Pike was born on March 10th, 1976 in Beckley, West Virginia to parents Emil Glenn Pike and Carissa Hansen.

Unfortunately for her though, life would not be easy during those early years as by all accounts

her parents were pretty neglectful of her from the get-go.

In fact, with her mother being a party girl who was more interested in going out drinking than raising

her daughter, and her father seeming to have little to no interest in being a parent.

He wasn't long before they abandoned her entirely and sent her to live with her paternal grandmother.

But maybe that was for the best because as one of her aunts would later note

conditions were so bad inside the Pike household that it wasn't uncommon for baby

Krista to be left crawling around through piles of dog poop which hadn't been cleaned up.

And what's more, when she began experiencing seizures while still an infant, neither parent

appeared to show much concern, possibly because they were too busy arguing with one another.

Still, for as bad as it was, Krista's grandmother had managed to rescue her from the situation.

Or at least that was the case until she passed away in 1988, when the young girl was still only 12 years old.

And that was a particularly impactful moment for her because not only was that the person who had rescued her from a bad home life now leaving her behind, but it was also the only person who she believed had ever loved her.

Her mother certainly didn't love her as far as Christa saw it, and that became evident when, after being forced to move back into her parents' home, she was returned to a life of neglect and abuse, both mentally and physically.

Yes, after being introduced to drugs by her own mother while she was still in her early teens,
