to the program I'm curious your thoughts president Biden announcing that there was a deal

a bipartisan deal on infrastructure and then not 40 minutes later Lindsey Graham coming

out dropping f bombs and saying no way and Mitch McConnell backing away from this too

I read your column and the point you made I think was dead on and that is that the republicans

have no intention of actually doing something bipartisan at least McConnell and Lindsey Graham

did not they knew this was a two-step deal they didn't say anything until it happened

they want to blame the democrats if it blows up so they had this photo up now president

Biden is going to do something big with the democrats and senate that's the only way

would pass the house and then you already have the narrative trying to be set by Graham

and McConnell that they were trying to be bipartisan and Biden is blowing up the deal and I think

what's really important is for us to push back and say this was not in good faith as your

column does and and and anyone should read it well thank you yeah how do you think this

is going to play out I'm arguing that at first I was kind of hoping that what was actually

happening here was that Biden and Schumer were just kind of trying to prove to the American

people that the republicans aren't negotiating in good faith and that we're just going to

have to do it ourselves if we want to get something done that narrative got blown up when

president Biden came out and said we've got a deal in fact if anything it was a huge PR
