It is possible that there's a method to the Democrats madness.

I'm skeptical.

I think they're being played by the no labels problem solvers, you know, hedge fund billionaire

crowd.

But it is possible that what Biden and Schumer are trying to do and have been trying to

do for the basically five months that they've been running things, shall we say, is proved

to the American people beyond any shadow of a doubt that the Republicans don't negotiate

in good faith and then use that proof to build a broad consensus across the Democratic

base at the very least that it's now time to blow up the filibuster and start getting

some things done.

Now like I said, this is best case theory, but that's what I've been hoping.

I don't know, we'll see where this all goes, it's going to be a tough one.

And I realize that by even raising this, what it does is it brings out of the woodwork,

all the folks who are like, you know, a pox out all their houses people.

You know, their Democrats are just the same as Republicans.

I don't want to hear that, right?

If you're going to call in and try and tell me the Democrats are the same as Republicans,

I'm going to cut you off because they're not.

The Republicans are playing a blood sport here.

The problem is that the Democrats are not fighting back with the same level of weaponry.

Now, I don't think they should be using the same weapons, but without the same level.
