The Lord Jesus had 12 original disciples, but those men were just the first of many more followers of Christ.

They are an example for us to learn from and a reminder that God works in ordinary people.

Who brought you to the Lord Jesus Christ?

And on reverse, who have you brought to the Lord Jesus Christ? Who are you thinking of right now that the Lord has allowed you to witness to and to bring to Christ?

And now they too have become a follower of the Lord Jesus.

We've come today in our study of these disciples, the original 12, to the man that is

brought to Christ by Philip and in all of the list of the disciples throughout the gospel

records, he's always connected to Philip. It's as if these two men became inseparable,

both as friends and then as fellow believers and workers. And that is the man by the name of

Nathaniel. Now, if you compare scripture with scripture and look at all the list, Nathaniel is

also known as Bartholomew. So don't get confused. If you hear Nathaniel, you hear Bartholomew, that's the same man.

And we introduced to him in John chapter number one. You'll remember that Philip has come to know

the Lord as his Savior. And in verse number 45 of John 1, Philip findeth Nathaniel and sayeth unto him,

we have found him of whom Moses and the law and the prophets did right,

Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

And we talked about Philip's witness.

I love this beautiful word found.

Philip finds Nathaniel and said, we have found him.
