0:48.1	You write in the book that over the years, when someone would ask you for comment on your
0:53.6	mother's life, you usually
0:55.3	declined. So what happened? Why did you decide to write the book and then do the documentary
1:01.6	about your mother? That's a great question. Well, prior to becoming a mother myself, I think that I
1:09.7	felt very protective of my family and also a little
1:16.2	unsafe in the world and not really a grown-up, even though I was by age standards, a grown-up.
1:25.7	Once I met my husband, Barry Watson, and we started a family,
1:30.5	and I gave birth to my daughter, Clover, in 2012, I really started to feel much more gravity
1:37.2	within myself. And I began to feel like a woman and an adult. And I even started to feel a bit like my mom's mother.
1:49.0	I turned 43, which was the age that she was when she died.
1:54.0	And a lot of the hard work that I had done in therapy,
1:59.0	everything started to coalesce. And so I was working on a fragrance
2:05.3	in her honor as sort of just, you know, like a creative outlet. And I was interviewed for the New York
2:13.2	Times, the style section. And it was the first time that I had spoken publicly about my mom in that
2:21.7	great detail and when the article came out it was on the cover of the Sunday style section
