I think the worst thing that could happen in some ways for just a human experience is that

you just go up and up and up and up. I mean sometimes you know the worst sides of my personality

have been when supposedly I'm at the top and everything's great and it's almost like

when the chips are down and you really get a sense of you're not what you do, you're who you are

and how you're treated on the way down so to speak. It's such a leveler and it's such a gift.

Natalie has written a new album Firebird and she credits it with allowing her to find her confidence

again having lost her way a little bit beforehand. There are lots of lessons that we can all learn

from her in both the album and in this chat about how rewarding it can be to allow things to just

fall apart so that we can actively rebuild the life that we want. Amen to that.
