This is Brandon from Music City 911. Just trying to give everybody update in Nashville.

As you probably wake up, you'll probably see on the news.

We've had a significant weather event happened here in Nashville.

A tornado has had a direct hit on the Nashville area.

I've actually come into work early this morning. I got here about

two hours early. They were asking for some overtime for people to come in and of course,

me the way that I sleep, I slept right through the page, but still managed to make it in a little bit early.

As it sits right now, there's widespread damage across most of East Nashville, some of the North Nashville area. From what I'm hearing, there's two fatalities inside Nashville that may climb.

They're still doing search and rescue efforts. A lot of building collapses.

And then further outside of Nashville in the Mount Juliet area, and now I'm here in the

Coteville, Putnam County area, that they've also had some pretty widespread damage from either

the same or maybe another tornado on top of that. And there's three or four more casualties out that way.

Just wanting to give everybody update.

It's probably going to be a long day for the people here working.

And just want to keep you all up to date on everything.

And I'll try to check back in after work and give an update a little bit further.
