How are you doing, man? Pretty good at night. What about yourself? Oh, I tell you, I'm doing really good. And I notice we've got some mighty smell good cooking on that Music City 911 stove

tonight. What have you got on the burner for us? Well, starting out tonight,

we're going to get into some kind of industry news for us for all you 911 dispatchers out there.

Something that we just recently did in the past couple days at the Nashville Center is we have a thing

now called ASAP to PSAP. And what that is for us and what it's going to mean for anybody who's not actually in the

industry, just kind of get a little bit of a backstory to it.

We take a ton of alarm calls.

Everybody out there, you'll probably, that's in the industry, you'll know exactly what

I'm talking about.

I don't know what the actual number is, but I'd probably say

somewhere between 10 and 20% of the calls that we take are alarm calls of one thing or another. They

could be burglar alarms from a house, a business. We could have duress alarms from a house,

hold-up alarms from businesses, fire alarms. there's any number of different alarms that we get

and we take all of them. So in the past, what have happened is we'd have these alarm companies

they'd call us and, you know, in general, it's something, you know, depending on the actual type

of call and everything, you're on the phone with these people, 45 seconds to about a minute

and a half and you do that a couple dozen times a day

that eats up a good portion of the day and a lot of your phone time well what this new thing is going on

is actually a software that they've handed out to all these different alarm companies and when they
