Good afternoon everyone. This is the Conversations That Matter Podcast. I'm your host

John Harris. It's a sober day today. I wasn't planning on doing a

podcast on what's happening right now or what happened yesterday in Nashville and the

developments concerning that I'm sure more will come out so we don't know exactly

the motive but it appears that there is a motive that at least

it's been suggested by the I believe it was the police commissioner, the chief of police of

Nashville PD that there is a theory that this Christian school was targeted that there is a element of persecution.

He said targeted that this Christian school was targeted but I'm saying it that there is an element of persecution, religious persecution

against Christians specifically and my heart goes out to the parents.

We're gonna get into this a little bit more

as the podcast unfolds, but I wanted to start

with reading Romans 1 to you.

Romans 1, and just, it's a familiar passage for a lot of us,

but I've been looking at Romans 1

over the last two days because I'm writing another book. It's been about a year and a half

I suppose since I came out with the last book and I think I need to write something that's a little bit more practical and

tackle some root issues that we're going through right now and I want to share with you a few of the thoughts that I'm in introductory thoughts because that's where I'm at. I'm still writing an introduction. I have actually some chapters somewhat done. That's how I write. I don't necessarily

do it chronologically. Sometimes I'll write a little here, write a little there and it just kind of develops.

But anyway, I was working on the introduction and

Romans one is one of the passages that I briefly used to describe what's

happened in Western societies in regards to not just sexuality

but in regards to all kinds of things.
