Today, I am so excited to have Nancy Twine, the founder and CEO of High Performance Clean

Haircare Brand, Briogeo.

If you're not familiar with Briogeo, it's a really remarkable company that also happens

to be the fastest growing hair care brand at Sephora, plus it's carried at Netaporte

and Nordstrom.

It's a truly inclusive line that works on all different textures of hair, it's formulated

and manufactured in the United States and relies on natural oils, vitamins and antioxidants

instead of sulfates, silicone and parabens.

It's also cruelty free, ethically sourced, and the packaging is both recycled and recyclable

so you can really feel good about using it.

The company has also been profitable since year one of business, hit $35 million in revenue

last year and is on track to double that in 2019.

Of course, since this is Second Life, you know that Nancy didn't start out in the hair

care business.

She actually used to work in commodity sales at Goldman Sachs before starting her company

on the side.

It's an amazing story of returning to your roots and building an incredible business along

the way.
