Editor-in-chief of the NationalPost.com, it's chilly in Washington DC, must be all that

global warming. It's Thursday, April 22, 2020, 2nd of April, the year of our

Lord 2020, 1. A lot of noise out there at the moment, a lot of noise, climate change

and DC statehood and all this active vandalism that the political left is

doing. And Mayor, oh don't get me started on Mayor Muriel Bowser. I was in a car

the other day, one of these private higher vehicles that is doing Uber now and the

guy said to me, he said, I think he was Pakistani of origin, he said, Mayor Bowser is

a crook, she's a criminal. I don't know if he reminds me of this, but he said he'd

spoken to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani about this, having driven him

before as well. And Mayor Giuliani said, when asked the question, how long would it take to

clean up Washington DC? Giuliani responded, about 48 hours. And that hit me, I

didn't disagree with it. You know, I look around the city every day from the

tense cities to the extortion that's going on to the visa scams building in the

war. And I mean, this is your nation's capital. I know it's a remote place for a

lot of people, but you should care. The culture of Washington DC becomes the

culture of the country, politically at least. But in other ways too. And when there is

such stinking corruption at the heart of your government, there can be nothing else nationwide.

Because everything will drip down every policy, every earmark, every bit of pork, everything

that DC does and disseminates, which is to the chagrin of many anti-big government

campaigners, conservatives and libertarians alike. Everything. The government is
