Giuliani, there are those out there who will suspect the timing of this.

It's being done under this administration, done under America, Ireland as Attorney General.

They might accuse this administration of political targeting.

Well, first I can assure you that what is new or may feel different in this administration is that the

Justice Department is independent. The president made that clear when he announced the nomination of

Mayor Garland and the Attorney General made clear in his hearing that he would not have taken the job

unless he could operate an independent manner. So people should know that.

And I assure you our focus here is on the joint address tonight on announcing the American

family's plan and certainly not on Rudy Giuliani.

This is the news, of course, that Rudy Giuliani had his offices raided a search warrant executed.

You know, all the Southern District staff all over again, but this is signal.

This is really important. There's not a lot that Bannon and I disagree on ladies and gentlemen,

but this is one of them and you know, mine is I am convinced that the Ukraine staff is not a side show

to a side show and we'll get into it.

All of this wraps up into just the same techniques, the same kind of extortionist mindset that the pavades

in Washington DC right now as the news comes out this afternoon.
