0:24.9	New York, and I'm imagining you're sitting across from me from my desk, and we're having a nice
0:32.4	chat. So this title of this podcast and theme comes out of two questions that regularly emerge in my conversations with leaders, and that's this.
0:44.5	After COVID, are we now in a different season?
0:46.9	It sure feels like it, and how should we lead differently as a result?
0:51.5	And the second question is, what are the seasons of ministry and how does leading or
0:56.6	pastoring change as we age and go through the decades? But actually, there was a third reason
1:03.6	for this podcast as well as I'm in my own season of shifting and transition and have been seeking and to sense of it all and so I'll share out of
1:13.6	that as well. So, I mean, the season's theme is so large. I mean, there's the season of globally
1:20.6	we're in a season with COVID that hit us a little over two years ago and maybe four or five
1:26.9	months in addition to that. So that's brought a little over two years ago and maybe four or five months in addition to that.
1:28.6	So that's brought a huge shift in the church.
1:32.8	So that's what season are we in?
1:34.5	Then there's a season of the ministry that you're leading.
1:38.6	What season is that in?
1:39.6	It goes through different seasons.
1:41.3	Then there's personal seasons that we have.
1:44.0	And they of of course, intersect
1:45.6	overlap, but they can be different at the same time. So before I go into the answers to those
1:51.7	questions, I want to frame, play a solid framework for seasons biblically, and so that the answers begin to make some sense.
