This is the Naked Mormon History Travel Log, Cross Country Style, for March 26th, 2017.

Today was a very impactful and incredibly full day.

I'm just trying to think through everything that happened today.

Okay, so here, I'm going to thumb through the pictures that I took and that I posted up on the naked Mormonism Facebook page just to try and jog my memory about what happened.

And then just kind of walk you guys through my day because

this is this is what happened this is the travel log this is why i'm doing these things so started

the day in navu illinois now navu of course is the home to so much Mormon history not just

a church of jesus christ of latter-day St. Salt Lake City Mormonism, but many different

Mormonisms stemmed from Navu.

I began the day just stopping at the entrance to the town.

It has little, like a cement monument that says,

welcome to Navu. And I couldn't help but stop and take a picture with that, you know,

a little selfie shot because it was just surreal to enter Navu. I had heard about this place through my entire life in Mormonism and now to finally be standing where so much history is, you know, happened and occurred and so much of Mormonism came from. It was just

completely indescribable. So I began the day.

As soon as I got into town, I was like,

the very first thing,

got to go to the temple.

And that's what I did. So the very first thing was just looking at the

magnificent temple,

which has a very interesting and sorted history.

There will be a video released on it eventually discussing the exact history behind it.

But suffice it to say the history behind it is, well, hmm, the temple was initially started by Joseph Smith in 1841, two years after the saints were chased out of Missouri.
