Hi everyone. Welcome to another episode of the Let's Talk Yoga podcast. I hope you are doing well.

0:07.6

You'll notice that this episode is dropping on a random day, honestly. That's because I ended up injuring

0:14.1

myself last week. It was literally out of the blue. I quite, I mean, I just stepped my feet apart,

0:27.3

sort of jumped my feet apart and ended up tearing my ACL looks like, probably messed with my meniscus too.

0:35.6

So while I'm learning to adapt to this new normal, it has slowed me down quite literally at work.

0:39.5

I'm doing great all things considered. I'm in no pain,

0:45.5

thankfully. Inflammation's gone down. I'm just limping around, dragging my leg around and getting around is challenging. It's honestly, it's frustrating because I'm somebody who

0:51.8

has been using my body in a very intense capacity, not just

0:56.2

through yoga, right? You know, I have been a professional dancer and I'm at the gym and I end up

1:01.4

walking for miles. I just, I communicate with myself through my body in so many ways.

1:07.1

So this new experience is a lesson. So I'm just taking one moment at a time. Okay. So all things

1:15.3

considered, I'm doing well. I'm just a little behind on dropping this podcast. I should be back to a

1:21.6

regular programming schedule next week. But it looks like the future holds a lot of limping around for sure and some are just

1:30.2

teaching schedules for me, moved some stuff around in terms of timelines, and I might be going

1:36.0

in for a reconstructive surgery next week. I'll know that in a couple of weeks and then we'll move

1:41.0

into recovery from there. So that's, it's not the way I plan to start the new year, to say the least, but I'm embracing

1:48.9

it.

1:49.5

I'm sure there are many interesting insights and lessons in here.

1:53.4

So if any of you out there, I hope not, have to own your ACL and you have any words of

1:59.2

advice or humor.

2:00.6

I'll take that too at this point. Just feel

2:03.0

free to reach out. Okay. And on the show today, I was going to do a completely different episode,
