I've been doing a series on the truth about truth and I've been talking about how actually

how to relate to the Bible and how to actually read the Bible and actually receive truth by

the Holy Spirit.

How many of you understand that it's the word and the spirit that equal truth? That the

word without the spirit equals principles that take you into bondage, but it's the word

and the spirit that bring you into truth.

And you know I said this well last week again but some people believe that all the answers

for life are in the Bible.

How many of you understand that God cares about where you work?

Raise your hand.

Can you find a verse in the Bible that tells you where to go to work?

No.

You can find verses in the Bible that tell you how to work and the principles of working

but you can't open the Bible to a page that tells you where to go to work or how about

this.

Does God care about who you marry?

Can you find a verse in the Bible that tells you who to marry?

My point is pretty simple really that the goal of the Bible is that you would get to

know the author.

And it's the author that leads you into all truth and God, how many of you understand that

all the Bibles in God but not all of God's in the Bible that God's actually bigger than

the book?
