As we bring you kind of an update from this past week in Mississippi State,

had a very successful weekend in Texas.

The end up losing going two and one with a win over Arizona State,

win over Virginia Tech, and then on Sunday a very narrow loss and honestly controversial loss for Mississippi State

against the number one team in the nation, UCLA in extra innings.

As UCLA ends up winning 8 to 7 and scored three runs in the 10th and and really a lot of things to take away from

this game and I'm not going to take the route of you know Mississippi State really just kind of

got messed over here because look state you know one way or the other had opportunities to

win that game and for one

reason or another did not. So we're going to talk about that. But look, coming out of the

weekend overall, I don't think there's a way to be anything but encouraged by Mississippi

State's performance versus teams that are good. And they vary in, you know, skill. I think

UCLA, obviously, we saw UCLA's batting order is ridiculous, the amount of talent they have.

Arizona State is a team that run, rolled Oklahoma. And then, you know, Virginia Tech is a decent team,

probably the weakest out of anybody there in Texas.
