Hello and welcome to another episode of Menace to Sobriety with your host, Anna O'Reilly. Thank you for joining me again. This is the third episode in the second series. I'm super excited. I'm chopping it up each episode just to see what you guys like, see what you want more of. This one is, this is like a how-to guide, this one.

Over the last week, I've spent a lot of time really sort of drilling down on what it is that I do to stay sober.

that are at the beginning of their journey that are sort of just coming across this.

There's a lot of information in here that can translate into just in general that would be good

for people that are on their own journey of mental mental health well-being but this really is

specifically for people that are struggling to stay sober or people that are thinking of

making the transition into sobriety or have failed at it or are struggling to to know what

even to think about what am I supposed to think about? What are we supposed to be doing?

What is the work?

You know, when people say,

this is the work you've got to do on your sobriety.

So what I did is I went away and I made a list of 10 things that are important to me

in my recovery,

10 things that I do or that I needed to do to get sober and I continue to do to stay sober.

Now, I don't really know every, I don't know everything about sobriety.

I don't sit here and try and try and sort of brand myself as a sober guru or as like a sober

advisor, but all I am simply doing is drawing from lived experience.

And I really struggle. I continue to struggle. You know, I continue to struggle when life gets

hard. I continue to struggle at the weekends. But all of this stuff makes it easier for me.
