Today I want to talk about my tech rules for 2026. Now, this is sort of an accompaniment to the iconic we need to be more interesting episode,

one of my most downloaded episodes of all time.

And I was thinking about that episode and how much it meant to you guys and how much it meant

to me.

I was thinking about phone free fall and the no phones party.

And recently I was invited to speak on this panel with Jonathan Haight. If you

don't know who that is, he wrote The Anxious Generation. And he has a new book coming out and he's

done a lot of work, lobbying, trying to ban social media for kids under the age of, you know,

trying to age gate it.

He's just an amazing advocate and he is someone that I really look up to.

And I was like blown away that I was asked to, you know, be a guest on this panel.

Megan and Harry were also on the panel and Amy Schumer.

And I was just like, well, what am I doing here?

But they asked me to talk on the panel because of phoneumer and I was just like, well, what am I doing here? But they asked me to talk

on the panel because of phone free fall and because of the no phones party. And it got me thinking

and I put together a list of simple tech rules that I'm going to adhere to this this year. Now,

this is not supposed to shame anyone. This is not supposed to make you feel

guilty. But at this point, if you're a listener, you know how my brain works. And I work better

when I have like a list or a rule. That's just how I am. And I think a lot of you are too.

So I put together some very simple rules and take them if you want.
