So as we've said throughout this series, we all have a song or some songs that have stamped our lives.

You hear those songs, those old songs, and that kind of takes you back to a season of time, kind of another time and other place.

Today is part three of our series, My Story, My Song, where we're taking that sentiment of how music can take you to the past or remind you of something or be a part of your past.

And we're taking

that same sentiment and we're applying it to some of the worship songs that we sing, some of the

songs that we sing in church. Because great worship music or great worship songs actually have

sermons embedded in them, sermons that should stamp our lives if they haven't stamped our lives

already, or in some cases,

as I'm going to explain today, a new song is written that reminds you of something in the past that maybe God did or that God is doing in your life, which is the case for the song we're going to

talk about today because great worship songs always include great important truth. So today,

I want to highlight one of the songs that we've sung for quite a while. And the

reason again that we're highlighting these lyrics is that I would like for you to feel them

when we sing them. And even those of you who don't sing and those of you who would assure us,

I shouldn't sing, especially with somebody, you know, two and a half

feet in front of me. I get that. You should only sing in the car. I get that. But even for those of

you who just stand and look at the lyrics, I would hope that as a result of this series, when we sing

some of these songs, these lyrics would jump out and that you would feel them as you hear

other people sing them. And today's song, as I referenced just a moment ago, this song really

takes me back. It's a new song or newish song, but it takes me back to a childhood memory

that is so important for me, and I hope it becomes important for you. The name of the song is
