and we've got two stories on this episode and both of them have to do with deceit, shame, fear, and reality television.

If a test could reduce you to the point of screaming out loud

because you were so frustrated with what you were experiencing,

then that was a good test for us.

We were trying to induce frustration, and we were trying to see how human beings deal with

frustration. We begin with this story from former reality producer Avagile Shots.

It was during the making of one particular television series that she found a line in the

Most jobs go like this. You have a boss who tells you to do stuff.

Sometimes that stuff is easy,

sometimes that stuff is more complicated.

Point is, if you want to keep your job, you do it.

But what if you don't have a normal job?

And what if the thing you're asked to do is uncomfortable, maybe even

painful for someone else? Well, that happened to me, and I learned something about

myself. my limit.

The job was in reality TV.

It was the first season of the first show that hired me as a writer. It was a really big deal for me. I had

wanted to be a writer forever. But anyway, the show, none of the nine contestants knew what

they were signing up for.
