Today on the Grave Talks, Conversations with Grandpa, a conversation with my nephew.

Today on the Grave Talks, I'm going to do something quite different for me,

and that's talk about a personal story that happened in my life.

So recently on our other podcast, Real Ghost Stories Online, I had my nephew on to share a

paranormal experience he had when he was an RN.

He's now a nurse anesthesiologist.

I could not be more proud about that.

But when we were recording that episode, I had no idea he would bring up something that happened to him when he was a child.

And in fact, we have never talked about it as adults.

So it was very surprising to me.

And what happened was in 1993, my dad had died.

And it was very deep loss for all of us.

And Chris was very, very close to my dad who he called

grandpa bozo him and his brother both called him grandpa bozo my dad had a nickname for everyone and nicknamed

himself when he became a grandpa so the kids called him grandpa bozo or boz or bozo so after my dad, which was an extremely deep loss for all of us,

it was weeks, maybe a month later, my sister Kathy called me as mom and she said,

Chris is talking to dad. And I said, well, you know, we all are because, you know, you do that.

When you're alone and you have conversations with that person you miss so much.

And she said, no, it's not like that. He sees him.

He talks to him. He knows things he shouldn't know.

So I talked to Chris, and she was absolutely right.
