0:18.0	So I had a question for you regarding my mom and I know she respects your philosophy and kind of green me and to listen to you as I grew up and were very similar. So I just wanted to get your opinion on something.

0:52.0	Okay. So I've just seen over the years that my mom is just very not self aware of and I don't want to use cycle, but of situations, meaning like we're with a group of people.
1:07.0	She kind of has to be in charge of the conversation where she will interrupt someone's story and make the story of something about herself.
1:18.0	Like tell her side of the story, not the side of the story, but like change the story to be something that she.
1:26.0	So you've noticed, you've noticed this your whole life.
1:31.0	Yes, but it's gotten really bad this last couple of years.
1:37.0	Maybe it's just I never really realized how bad it was, but now I'm self aware that other people are kind of get frustrated when they're telling a story and they're interrupted.
1:48.0	And she just starts telling her story and they don't even get to finish or.
1:53.0	Well, the person wait, wait, wait. These are all adults I assume.
1:59.0	Yes. Well, the adult who she's cutting off can always say, excuse me, let me finish.

2:14.0	I have a dear, dear, dear friend who was with me for a weekend and kept doing that. And I just kept saying, wait, let me finish.
2:24.0	So it's up to the other people to act like grownups. Your mother's not going to change.
2:29.0	If you haven't discussion with your mother about this, she's not going to like you.
