0:14.0	Thanks for taking my call. You're welcome.
0:17.0	So to get into it, my husband and I have been married to just celebrated our 22nd anniversary.
0:24.0	And we took a cruise because we hardly ever travel. We have four kids and we don't have a lot of opportunity for babysitters.
0:35.0	Luckily my mom lives close and while all the other grandparents have passed away, I decided to give her a chance to come and watch my kids for the seven days. We were gone.
0:47.0	While we were on our trip, we received numerous texts and calls from the kids saying that she was berating them.
0:56.0	And I was trying to deal with it from the cruise, but it was difficult and talked to her a few times and could tell that she was frustrated that there wasn't a lot we could do.
1:10.0	On the way home, my husband said, I want her gone when we get home. And I asked her to not be here, but she was resisting.
1:19.0	When we got home, he came in first and she was complaining about our teenage daughter who has been tears and was yelling at her telling her to leave the home.
1:30.0	And I was frustrated because I had told him when we get home, let me deal with it.
1:35.0	My question is, should I be upset with my husband for?
1:40.0	I'm not answering a question about should somebody have a feeling? If you have a feeling, you have a feeling.
1:49.0	I just want to know what was going on in that house.
1:54.0	A lot of what went on in my childhood, actually, and I know it's my fault for expecting what?
2:01.0	Meaning what? What was going on in the house while you were gone?
2:07.0	Criticism of the kids, berating them over cleaning, trying to teach my kids to be more clean.
2:16.0	And I had made specific instructions that I didn't want her doing that. I just wanted her to be a fun grandma.
2:23.0	And I know it's my fault for expecting that because she was not capable of that.
2:31.0	Okay, so we learned a terrible lesson and?
2:37.0	And my mom is extremely upset. She can't, she's a victim.
2:41.0	And so she doesn't see it from my kids' perspective. And she was blaming my husband and I for taking their side as children and hers.
