But before we get started, let's take a moment to get comfortable and settle in for the night.

Find a cosy position and gently close your eyes. Breathe slowly and deeply, inhaling calm and exhaling stress. Focus on your breath's rhythm and begin to imagine a warm light, growing brighter as you breathe

in and slightly dimmer as you breathe out.

Starting at your head, allow the light to relax your face.

And as it moves down your body, imagine it softening your muscles, in your shoulders and arms, your chance,

back, abdomen, hips, legs and feet.

Each part is heavy and deeply relaxed.

Rest in this peaceful state now.

Sinking deeper into calm, ready for a restorative sleep.

Last time, Bertie was awoken by his friend,

Rocky, in his room at dawn, with a letter in his hand.

Rocky lived in Long Island and was notoriously lazy.

He didn't wake up till midday and spent his time watching birds and writing the odd poem.

His aunt, Rockmater, lived in Illinois and had written explaining that while she had always wanted to experience the heady joys of New York,

her hell prevented her from travelling. to experience the heady joys of New York.
