doing amazing things. She's in high school. She has a book. It is called Stepping into History of VR

Adventure. And from the book, she wrote a letter. My name is Milan Brown. I'm a

black girl in Baltimore City who attends a predominantly white high school where I maintain a 4.3 GPA

while enrolled in three AP classes and excelling as an athlete more than my academic and athletic

achievement. I am deeply passionate about my black community,

the injustice we face and the rich,

powerful, and beautiful culture to which I'm a part.

Hi, super excited to be here. Listen, and I saw what you're doing. First of all, the letter, amazing. Okay. You are doing incredible things. I was asking you, ripping with you off, Mike. Why not South Carolina where Dawn Staley is? Do they need another All-American?

You were like, I want to play.

I want to play basketball.

And then I asked you, why not an HBCU?

Yes.

So why not an HBCU?

Although HBCUs are amazing and it would be an amazing opportunity to learn more about my culture firsthand.

I still was way far as because I felt like basketball, they had the right path for me to play professionally.
