So I think we'd like to start the conversation by learning a bit about your marriage and your partner prior to the transition.

So essentially who was the man at the time that became your husband?

Yeah, so we actually grew up together.

At the, you know, as kids, she was like my friends, my brother's friend and I was like the tag-long little sister.

So we've just always like grown up as kids together. And then like right after or like when I was in like my freshman year of college,

we hadn't really kept in touch very well for a few years, but

she reached out and was like, Hey, I'm going to be going into the army.

And I'd really love a chance to come up and see you guys because we had flown to we had moved to Boston.
