This is rather a famous badge.

But the diamond clusters, there are eight diamond clusters around the edge here, which were given apparently by Queen Elizabeth I first to the city of London. And this was made into a badge at the very end of the 18th century and it's been worn by Lord Mazn ever since.

I wear it on a travelling ribbon, but if I'm at the Mansion House at big events, I wear

it on something called the chain of s's, which was a 16th century chain, which was reportedly

Mansion House is the home of the Lord Mayor. It was designed in 1739, took over 10 years to build,

and since the 1750s has been the home of Lord Mayor's. And it was built specifically for that purpose.
