0:15.0	Hi, Dr. Laura. Hi, Dr. Laura. Hi, Jessica. How old are you? I'm 36. Elderly child. I'm mom. So what can I help you to?
0:26.0	Hi. We're calling because my brother suffered too hard to tax yesterday. And he's in the hospital on life support. We're expecting to have to make the tough choice today to take him off life support.
0:44.0	And so the reason I'm calling or we're calling as a family is because obviously we're in the grieving process. He has a 13 year old daughter who were taking care of right now during this time. And we're just not really sure the psychologically or meant I really don't want to make the wrong call, but we're not sure how involved she should be for her well being and understanding not only now.
1:09.0	Is she is she anywhere near the two of you now? Can she come on the line? Yes, we can bring around the line.
1:19.0	Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Okay. Does she know what's going to happen?
1:26.0	Yes, we had talked with her yesterday when he was in the hospital and last night my mom made it clear to her that my brother is likely not going to survive and she knows that.
1:40.0	Okay, let's ask her if she'd like to talk. Ask her permission.
1:45.0	Okay. Laura said, would you like to participate in this phone call? The sure question? Yeah. Okay. She said yes, Dr. Laura. Have her healers as well.
1:54.0	Would you please tell me her first name? Larissa. Larissa? Okay. Hi, Larissa. Yeah, not a great day. Yeah, no, no.
2:08.0	How long has your dad been ill?
2:11.0	For a long time, but this is the second, like, really bad times. His heart got really bad recently.
2:24.0	Okay. You do know that your mom and grandma are tomorrow probably going to terminate treatment. How do you feel about that? Yeah.
2:44.0	Honestly, I don't really know. I have a process to get.
2:48.0	They want to know if you wish to be there. Yeah.
2:59.0	Can you describe to me what you think is going to happen?
3:03.0	Larissa. My dad, you've been on that for a while. Yes.
3:16.0	And it could be with you holding his hand or not.
3:32.0	Okay. Do you think you'd like to be there to hold his hand? It's sort of like a fine, or well. Yeah.
3:41.0	Do you think you'd be able to say things like, I love you, dad? Yeah.
3:54.0	Do you think that would be okay with you? Or do you think it would be worse? Yeah.
4:01.0	Which one? You said you had a both. It would be okay.
