On today's episode, I want to give you my best advice for 2022.

Here it is, do not love this world.

I know that it's in the negative.

I know most people like things in the positive, but here's the deal.

Every once in a while, a do not is really helpful.

The Bible has a specific do not in 1 John 2, 15.

That's where I stole that from.

Do not love the world or the things in the world.

Everything writes if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him and

in verse 16 and 17, he unpacks what is in the world and why we want to possess the

love of the Father and a love for the Lord, but not a love for the world.

That is what we're talking about today.

Have you ever heard of a killjoy, it's like the person or the event that sucks the

life out of a room, ruins the fun, or shuts down the party, so to speak, those who come

along like a freight train into your otherwise amazing day and they speak words or they perform

actions that kill your joy.

Those are all things that kill from the outside, but what about the inside?

For the Christian, the ways of this world are just that, kill joys.

In fact, I could go further and call them lies because they claim to please you, the ways
