I was talking with a buddy the other day, being that today is my birthday, the big 3-7, which, if you're anything like me, I don't get too excited about birthdays.

But I really do kind of use it as a mental and a physical reminder

to stop and kind of take inventory of the last 12 months and just reflect back on the learning

lessons and the growth and the challenges and the wins, being that I don't celebrate a lot of

that stuff enough, you know, always moving the goalpost, always looking to go bigger, always looking to learn, you know, something faster and, and really just to like,

stop and pause and just take inventory of all of the things that are going on in my life.

And also to kind of like cast vision and create clarity around what I'm excited about,

what I want to go after, what I really want to nail in on the next 12 months going forward.

And, you know, looking back, the last 12 months have been some of the most expansive and also humbling of my life.

I have, you know, really, as I was kind of making a little bit of a list and going through what those things are, you know, when you read some of these things, it's like, why am I not celebrating and being a little bit more proud and present with this kind of growth?

And then the other side of me goes, good for you, pat on the back.

Like, this is a never-ending journey of constant input, right? Like,

doing the right things, putting the right, you know, ingredients in the recipe of whatever outcome

it is that you're trying to create and not resting on your laurels, not getting too excited. One of my first mentors always

told me is, you know, never read your own press clippings. Like whatever the headline says,

the big, exciting headline, like, don't get too excited about it. Don't buy into it too much, right? But I think

there's also some power in, you know, celebrating the little wins and growth that we as humans

have and how we evolve and to give ourselves credit when credit is due because I know so many

of you out there, at least when I am looking at you and hearing about your journeys

and your successes and your challenges and the peaks and valleys that you're going through,

I'm inspired. I really am inspired by so many of our amazing listeners that, you know,

have either converted over to wise investor collective commercial real estate mastermind
