Hello creatives. I'm Joanna Penn. And this is episode number 665 of the podcast and happy new year 2023. This episode is going out on

the 1st of January 2023, although I'm recording it the week before. And in today's show, I'll share my

2023 creative and business goals, which I do at the beginning of every year.

So I am more excited than ever this year about the books I want to write and publish.

I've definitely had a difficult few years, but then haven't we all?

And now I'm ready to create at full throttle in 2023, aided by the incredible AI, Bler, aided by the incredible AI... Blah-blah!

Aided by the incredible AI-powered tools emerging for writers, which I'll talk about again in a minute.

So here's an overview of what I will talk about.

Experiment with futurist technologies and share what I learn with you along the way. As ever,

more digital, more physical, focus on optimising my health and doing more in-person travel

and events and my financial goals. As ever, I am a full-time author-entrepreneur, and this is my

job. So I have a lot of goals because this is

pretty much everything I do. If your goals are simpler, like finishing your book or publishing for

the first time or selling a thousand copies of your book, then fantastic. You don't have to have

such extensive goals as me. Even one creative goal is a really good idea.
