Hey friends welcome back in the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to get your mind aligned

with the truth of God. We are moving ahead in this series called Mind War. We're learning

how to fight when the attacks of the enemy come our way, when the discouragements of life

pile on. That's what this Mind War series is all about. Today we're going to be talking

about how we fight the battle when we're beginning to lose faith. I think it's a very

important topic because this happens to us all the time and we may not actually define

it at times as losing faith but that's what's happening when we're becoming discouraged

and anxious and fearful rather than full of faith in our God who's mighty. That today

we're going to look at Jeremiah chapter 32 verses 39 through 40. So if you have the

ability to take out your Bible and look at this yourself you may want to jot down some

notes in the margin of this passage because this is a very important passage. Now before

we actually read it let me set up the context for you here. Jeremiah is writing during

a time when God's people have been disciplined by God. Their sin was sins of idolatry. They

had gone very deep into very despicable behaviors and God was disciplining them by

removing them from the promised land and having them under a slavery of sorts to a country

called Assyria. And Jeremiah is writing to them speaking words on behalf of God who is telling

what he's going to do to bring them back to a good place. And this is a messianic prophecy

as well in that it's speaking beyond just their generation into the future to speak of what

God will do for people who place their faith in him like Israel should have been doing. Friends

that's you and me. So this promise that we're about to read is for us today as much as it was for

Israel. Okay and here is God speaking to his people in that situation and he says I will give them

speaking of these people who will trust me in the future. I will give them one heart and one way
