Hey friends welcome back it's time for the morning mindset I want to ask you

something this morning you have moments in life where discouragement just seems

to overwhelm you the doubts start to arise everything begins to look dismal

I mean I think we've all been in that situation today we're gonna look at a

truth that can help us get our mind aligned with God's Word help us get our

minds aligned so that that discouragement is defeated that's our goal today

is to learn how to defeat discouragement now before I go ahead I want to

remind you coming up mid-August of 2022 is a new podcast my wife and I are

producing is gonna be free of charge to everyone who wants it and it's a

Christian parenting podcast rooted deeply in the scriptures and the

application of those to the lives of our children I want you to keep an eye out

for God fearing kids and the parents who raised them we will give you more news

as time goes on all right let's be honest as brothers and sisters in the

Lord here for a moment we all have these moments when we get discouraged maybe

it's disappointing news that comes our way that starts that ball rolling maybe

it's something like a sickness or fear we have about our children or a

concern about someone's situation and it begins to cause this big snowball of

doubt to happen and our spirit becomes depressed we get pushed down into this

emotional place of discouragement friends do you know what to do proactively in a

very intentional way in those moments of discouragement I think we all got to

develop this skill set of overcoming and defeating discouragement because it's

going to come in life if it didn't happen yesterday it's probably gonna happen
