Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. I am so thankful you're here. Here

it is August 1st, 2022. I cannot believe it. I am just amazed that the year seems to

just sped by and I pray you're doing well. Today we're going to be talking about what

we do when our past comes back to haunt us, when it discourages us, when it threatens

us to bring us down and condemn us. Friends, this is a powerful episode. You're not going

to want to miss. Before we get started though, I want to acknowledge people who are listening

in countries all over Europe today. I'm looking at my map. I see people listening in Italy.

I see people listening in Romania, in Austria, in Belgium, in Ireland, in Portugal. There

are people all over the world listening to the morning mindset. I want to welcome you,

especially. I want to thank you for taking the time to get your mind aligned with the

truth of God so that you can live in a way that brings him glory in your part of the world.

Friends, do not take it lightly. You are making a difference. You are a shining light in

the kingdom of God, filled with the Holy Spirit of Jesus. Now let's talk about this issue

of when our past comes back to discourage us. We're going to be looking at 1 Corinthians

chapter 6 verses 9 through 11. And this in a way is one of those before and after scenes that

you see in advertising or in some crazy YouTube video. It's a before and after of us. Before

we were believing in Jesus Christ, and now after we're living in Jesus Christ. All right,

let's look at it. This is Paul. He says, do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit

the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor

adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards,

nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And you may hear that

listen. You may be thinking, wow, this is supposed to be encouraging for me. Kerry thinks a lot.
