Summary

Elon Musk walked into Twitter HQ carrying a sink.  I thought it was symbolic that he's throwing the kitchen sink at  Twitter but he tweeted to let it all "sink in" that he owns it.  The left is going ballistic.    We have stunning news on 28 house races and how polling has moved in the past month.  Kansas District 3 between Adkins and Davids is the outlier and I may lose my cool over this.    We've already heard there are 240,000 ballots mailed out in Pennsylvania that are not verified with a social security number or drivers license.  Now the Secretary of State is making outrageous statements about holding back results.  You gotta hear this.    HOF golfer Tom Watson and his new wife Leslie Ann have announced they are divorcing after three months.  I'm not critical of such decisions people make and truly just want folks to be happy.  But the comments she released in a statement are bizarre at best.    A player from the Chiefs Super Bowl LIV team is selling his ring online... we have the deets.    And KU announced a 10 year plan for basketball, football and baseball facility upgrades which sounds awesome.  Then they went too far and gave out way too much information and it's a buzzkill.

It was just a fabulous site at Twitter headquarters in California as Elon Musk walked in carrying a sink, a pretty big sink, and then

0:25.2

tweeted out, let this sink in as Elon Musk is taking over Twitter. He went on to change his bio on

0:31.5

Twitter to Chief Twit, which is just fantastic and went on to say that he's meeting a lot of really cool people today at Twitter.

0:41.4

Of course, he has upset the apple cart in America, in media, in information, in freedom of speech, and so many different ways.

The left has become completely unhinged over this takeover of Twitter,

0:54.9

which they have basically owned and operated since its inception in the early to mid-2000s.

1:00.4

It has been their domain. They have owned and operated it and run it for their good, for their

1:06.3

advancement, for the advancement of everything woke, every liberal politician, and everything that they

1:12.2

believe in, along with CNN, MSNBC, the old legacy media, CBS, ABC, the New York Times,

1:20.4

the Washington Post, you name them, they've had control. What they know and why they're freaking

1:27.0

out is these tech media companies, for lack of a better term,

1:33.0

have more influence now and more impact on the electorate than do the old legacy media.

1:39.5

Knowing this, it's got them completely freaked out that Elon Musk is taking over.

1:43.0

And by the way, we don't know exactly what Elon Musk is going to do. He may disappoint a whole bunch of us

1:48.3

that he doesn't do enough or that he doesn't do. If you're thinking he's going to turn this into

1:53.4

a bastion of conservatism and nothing else, I think you're missing the point. I think he really believes in

2:02.3

free speech and he wants free speech to be there. But just leveling the playing field, just making

2:08.1

it half and half and not doing things like kicking the president of the United States off Twitter

2:15.2

is an amazing place to start. And it was something

2:18.6

really to see as he walked into an empty building because nobody really works at Twitter anymore.

2:23.0

They send anybody home from the pandemic and they haven't required anybody to come back.
