Hey everybody, Rob Mauer here, and today we are talking about a new Elon Musk interview

We've also got some updates on Tesla Energy, new EPA emissions proposals, and more.

A little bit of a disappointing day for Tesla Stock today, after starting off the day with

a small gain, Tesla finishing down about 3% to close at $180.54, while the NASDAQ followed

a similar but less significant trajectory throughout the day, finishing down almost

9.10 of a percent.

Of course, the big news in the broader market today, the Consumer Price Index or CPI report

that came out before market opened.

This was largely in line with expectations, the headline numbers came in a little bit

below expectations, maybe 10 to 20 basis points or so.

Putting the year over year headline number at an even 5% versus expectations of 5.2%.

So we can see this is the lowest in about 18 months.

With the CPI graph continuing to show a nice consistent decline, obviously though that's

a little bit easier to show a decline when you're comparing against high numbers from last

With that being the case, the month of a month number can be a little bit more informative,

so from a headline perspective that was a 0.1% or 10 basis point increase from the month
