From all around the world, I'm Father Chris, and we are very excited to bring a brand new talk

that I've not talked about before, and its impact affects everyone. And you might be saying,

Father, how does St. Cecilia affect everyone? It is music. And we are going to

talk about this incredibly powerful gift or danger that exists in our world today. And so stay with us

because we're going to talk about the power of music, how it can affect us,

and why we need St. Cecilia today. So let us begin with the prayer in the name of the Father and of the

Son and to the Holy Spirit. Amen. Heavenly Father, we ask you send the Holy Spirit down upon us.

And through the gift of music, may we keep it whole, wholesome, and directed towards you,

and not let the evil one through portals enter us through the wrong kind of music.

And we ask Mother Mary for your protection and the intercession of St. Cecilia.

Okay, you saw the title of this talk is really about St. Cecilia in one sense,

but it is more than that.

It is about music, and how we can let it control us or not. Okay, St. Cecilia,

but why is this saint so important that, Father, you haven't talked about her before? Well,

it's because today is her feast day. November the 22nd. We're going to be talking more about that. But it's so important

because music is so important. It goes to the soul. In fact, music is the language of the angels.

And in fact, composers of music, they all agree that their creations have immense power.
