My favorite sports team, Mark, is a sports team.

This is the first time I've ever heard you call yourself Mark Eplier.

I've done it so many times.

Anyway, my name is Mark Edward Fishbock and I am here as a sport not do-gooder, but Tyler, he knows sport real good.

Yeah, I actually studied it. I got my Master's Green Sport Administration, the athlete my whole life, and I'm an avid fan of sport.

We are back with another episode of GO! My favorite sports team.

Today we're going to talk about how music ties into sport because obviously with the Super Bowl, it's a major, major deal to be a part of the halftime show.

It's also a major deal as an artist to even just sing the national anthem before the game.

So there's a really high correlation of music and sport in ways that a lot of people may not even realize.

I mean, music, there's plenty of music that talks about sport, but you hear music in the arena, you hear music when you're working out.

Music just ties into so many things and especially when it comes to athletic activities and anything that's in an entertainment event, audio is a major thing.

We talk about it with our own creations, the podcasts and things above that.

Audio is keen. Music ties into sport in a very unique way.

People underestimate audio in almost every field, every genre of movie audio is underrated. Like any show I've been in the nitty gritty of an audio mix session for the final mix of various shows that I've made, the audio transforms what you see.

It guides your ear, it guides your predictive sense of what's going to happen next. People use music to change your mood so that you are more or less receptive of what you were about to see or what you were currently seeing.

Also back in the day in the earliest days of sport when Unga Bunga said he would go throw rock and hit other rock in the other said like bitch, no.

And then someone else got a bone and like a drum and start banging it and everyone else was getting into it because it'd go down here.

And then that's how music got integrated in the sports because it gets the people going.
