What follows is a collection of stories that links one with the other.

It'll all make sense once I explain where the idea came from and how I stumbled

upon the first story over coffee and pastry.

I was in Copenhagen and somebody had told me about an amazing chef who dropped out of one of the most famous restaurants in the world to go and

bake bread and make quasants at the back of a coffee shop.

It was the best pastry you can find, I was told.

I was curious and hungry and so I went in search of the

chef and his name is Milton Abel.
