The early 1880s were a strange time in Ireland.

The country was rocked by several notorious killings,

the Mam Trasna murders of 1882 being the most prominent among them.

Two years later, Ireland was again shocked by another murder in East Cork, which is the focus of this

podcast.

This is the second part of a land to die for which looks at that murder.

The first installment set the scene introducing William Sheehan and native of Karig Danan
