0:24.6	Hi, my name is Sandy and I'm an alcoholic and that was my pager that went off its work,
0:33.1	okay, I'm supposed to call him back but I'm going to let his slide for a while.
0:38.6	This is the worst case of caught in mouth, oh my god, I'm so nervous, I can't believe it.
0:44.5	I guess I should be grateful I'm not a 45 minute speaker, 15 minutes is enough for me
0:48.4	and I'm supposed to tell you a little bit about where I came from, what Sandy's all about,
0:54.9	what alcoholics and on and this is done for me.
0:57.9	I've been sober now for a little bit over three years and my life is 110% better since
1:04.7	I've been here and I can honestly say that.
1:08.2	My story is a lot about isolation, I hear a lot of people share and I hear about a lot
1:13.7	of the DUIs and losing homes and losing jobs and losing families, husbands, wives, kids,
1:20.0	all that good stuff.
1:21.6	I was fortunate enough not to have that happen to me.
1:25.8	I've been losing a lot of material things during my drinking but I lost my soul.
1:30.9	I lost my identity and I never knew what Sandy was all about.
1:35.9	I started drinking at the age of 15 and I drank for 10 years.
1:41.2	Again, drinking was social, it was fun, it was a way for me to fit in with people.
1:46.6	I always felt like I missed it.
