Okay, I'm still Judy and I still have alcoholism.

I want to thank Cat for asking me to share my experience strength and hope, it's always

a privilege to participate in a meeting of alcoholics and anonymous and specifically

prime time, which is very close to my heart.

And happy birthday Jose and Dawn, it's so beautiful to celebrate sobriety, you know,

such a gift.

My sobriety date is January 10th, 2002.

I have a sponsor and a sponsor of many women and my home group is choosing my prime time

at Radford Hall, Radford Girl, I got sober there 11 years ago and, you know, I'm really

grateful today for my life and that's not something I could have said 11 years ago, you

know.

I'm going to get into any, you know, I qualify because I'm here, by the way, I don't really

need to get into all that, you know, you all know how to drink and use and how to party

it up and there's no need to get into all of that, you know, but the thing I definitely

want to qualify about for me, long before I ever picked up a drink and I really believe

the reason that drinking became such a powerful tool in my life is that I was restless,

irritable and discontent coming out of my mother's womb.
