Good evening, my name is Greg F***ing, I'm an alcoholic.

I need to preface this by saying a few things.

If it's not in a book and it comes out of my mouth, it is my pen only and chances are

because my ego is still as big as mountain, it may not fit your situation.

And by the way, my ego is not that big right now.

My drinking story is no different than any one or two of you together or alone.

It's just the same thing, started basically when I was 12, it was great, had a good time

for many, many years, functioned through growing up, through most of my marriage.

And only my own business, my own house, and then it all came to a crashing halt like most

of us had it happen.

And except for the love of my ex and a couple of very, very good friends and this program,

I shouldn't be here.

I would not be here.

A very serious point of my sobriety has been spirituality which I forgot about for many

a year, I raised Catholic and was into the religion as a kid because my parents and I

went to a Catholic elementary school in high school and then seemed to forget about it.

And about my relationship with the higher power.
