The president is huddling with Democratic leadership at the White House right now for the first time in this new session of Congress.

And as the president faces criticism from both inside and outside of his party over his handling of classified information,

news broke this afternoon that another batch of classified material had been found this time at former Vice President Mike Pence's Indiana home.

According to correspondence obtained by NBC News between Pence's legal team and the National Archives,

a small number of documents was discovered last week.

Former Vice President Mike Pence's team is asserting that he had no knowledge of those documents

and is pledging full cooperation.

This new discovery comes despite Pence flatly denying taking classified documents from the White
