I'd like to welcome back an old friend to the podcast.

Matt Villodebo. Matt's going to talk to us about a few upcoming trips.

He has planned in some projects.

But first, Matt, for those who missed your first episode, tell us a little bit about yourself.

Okay, so my name is Matt Villardebo.

I'm a 48-year-old who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease back in 2020.

So I kind of as a way to offset the illness.

I embraced hiking is like a fitness option because running and bicycling and

things like that don't lend itself to a movement disorder where my balance is compromised.

So I got out and did some hiking and really embraced that and up and decided,

you know what, I'm going to go hike the Appalachian Trail with another guy with Parkinson's.

And we're going to go do this thing and show the world what we can do.

So I went out and did that.

Actually, I did that two cycles I was out there in October of last year.

And this year, instead of really kind of punishing myself on the AT, I'm going to do some

different signature hikes.
