I'm Mama Jules, and today we have a disturbing tale of racial hate and murder out of Montana,

and then several cases of law enforcement fraud in California, and boozy parenting in Georgia. Be careful what you pack your kids for lunch. Let's get into it.

We'll begin in the gorgeous Gallatin forest. The Gallatin is so beautiful. It's hard to do it

justice by just explaining it. I've been there several

times and it's nothing short of stunning. Forested mountain ranges and I say ranges because

there's more than one mountain range. And then all of it borders Yellowstone National Park,

which is its own kind of beauty. And then the Gallatin River and the Madison River

and then other rivers weave their way through trees and grass and trails. And when you visit

the Forest Service website for Custer Gallatin National Forest, a gorgeous picture welcomes you to the

three million acres of the forested land. Then the very next tab on the website,

the very first picture following the greeting, says be bear aware. It reads Montana is bear country.

For the safety of all humans and all native wildlife, be bear aware.
