It began to descend to the wreckage of the Titanic

on Sunday morning.

The clock is ticking rapidly as the Coast Guard

coordinates a quote, quote, incredibly complex

search and rescue operation to find them in an area

that's twice the size of Connecticut

and two and a half miles below sea level.

Now multiple countries and government agencies

are involved with the effort, including the Canadian Coast Guard,

a Bahamian research vessel, a French research vessel,

a US Navy and the Air National Guard.

Remote operated vessels are also being deployed in the search

and more ships are expected to arrive in the next 24 hours.

Now, as you can see, the moving on this tracking map,

as many as 11 ships were spotted today,

heading toward the location of the Titanic wreckage.
