UFOs and aliens have been a part of the American news cycle since the summer of 1947.

And that is when the famous Roswell incident took place.

If you're not familiar with that, here is what allegedly happened.

In June of 1947, there were rumors around Roswell, New Mexico

that there was an object flying in the sky.

A few days later, a rancher named W. W. W. Mack Brazzle discovered some

strange wreckage. The debris from the crash included tin foil, rubber strips, and sticks, and

Brazzle then brought some of those objects to Roswell Sheriff. The sheriff was

unsure of what that object was,

so he then contacted Roswell Army Airfield.

The Army came and collected the wreckage

and they then released a statement that was shocking.
