context, but right now we have headlines in the Wall Street Journal.

And I welcome Liz Peek, a columnist at the Hill, a columnist at Fox News, March on Fox

News.

To comment on these two critics of the banking crisis, Jamie Diamond, the head of the largest

bank to my knowledge in the solar system, and Janet Yellen, a veteran of the Federal Reserve

having served as chair, and now the Secretary of the Treasury.

I start with Mr. Diamond's letter, which is much advertised in the Wall Street Journal

Front page.

It's a 43 page letter.

I have not read it.

I've read the Wall Street Journal summary, but it focuses on regulatory failure.

Regulatory failure.

What does that mean, Liz?

How should we interpret a banker who is in charge of a private enterprise, blaming the

regulators for not in some fashion helping bankers avoid a crisis?
